Total Formosa Plastics PP Rise Exceeds 700 yuan/Ton
Total and Formosa also recently announced an increase in the July price of PP resin.
In a recent letter to customers, Total said it would raise the price of its PP products by $0.03/lb (about 428 yuan/ton) from July 1. According to market sources, Total did not announce a price increase in June.
At the same time, Formosa Plastics of the United States sent a letter to customers, announcing that starting from July 1, the price of the company's various grades of PP products will increase by 0.05 US dollars/pound (about 711 yuan/ton). The price increase is in addition to any previously announced price increases. It is reported that Formosa Plastics raised its PP by $0.08/pound in June.
Ube Maruyama Announces PE Product Increase by Nearly 900 yuan/Ton
On June 25, Yubu Marushan Polyethylene Co., Ltd. announced that the company's PE (including LDPE, EVA, toluene LLDPE, LLDPE) and other products will be increased by 15 yuan/kg (about 882 yuan/ton) from July 12.
Light announced that some polyolefin products rose by more than 10%
On June 22, Japan's Uguang Unification Technology Co., Ltd. announced that due to the increase in the cost of polyolefin resin raw materials, some of the company's plastic products (such as transparent PP film, food preservative film, high-density containers, etc.) will be increased from July 1. The highest is more than 10%.
