On June 25, Zhongyuan Petrochemical successfully produced quality capacitor film materials using HA-R catalysts, marking the trend of high-end capacitor film materials, speeding up the substitution of capacitor film materials for imports and realizing localization.
HA-R catalyst has high polymerization activity and high stereotactic orientation. Compared with the previously used HA catalyst, the output polypropylene film material has lower ash content, better stereoregularity, and higher crystallinity of the product, which is conducive to improving the film-forming rate of stretching during subsequent processing. Since the HA-R catalyst developed by Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry was used for the first time in the No. 2 polypropylene plant, the HA-R catalyst was used to produce PPH-T03 with a melt index similar to that of the capacitor membrane material before the formal conversion, thus improving the adaptability of the plant to the new catalyst and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the plant.
High-quality polypropylene capacitor film material, with high dielectric strength, low media loss, reasonable roughness, small thickness deviation, high film rate and other characteristics, in which low media loss is an important standard to measure the quality of polypropylene raw materials, to maintain low media loss needs to achieve low ash, high crystallinity in the process of production. In view of the technical research of "capacitor polypropylene film material project", polyolefin two departments have formulated a rigorous and detailed production plan. The goal is to use HA-R catalysts to produce 5 brands of capacitor film materials, and different production formulas to produce polypropylene capacitor films with different properties for downstream manufacturers to try out, which also provides valuable data for the subsequent mass production of polypropylene capacitor film materials.
