KML PPA K5A is a processing masterbatch for PE extrusion, injection molding and film blowing. By adding PPA processing aid masterbatch, the processing performance of PE products can be improved without affecting other properties of the film.

The addition of the masterbatch can prevent melt fracture, remove water lines, improve product smoothness and brightness, reduce or eliminate head precipitates, and extend continuous production time; reduce film crystal points and fish eyes; reduce torque, increase production, and reduce unit energy consumption.

● Method of use

The processing temperature of the resin with KML PPA K5A added should be controlled below 240 ℃.

The equipment used for the first time needs 10~60 minutes of onset time, and the amount of masterbatch can also be increased to shorten the onset time. In order to shorten the onset time, it is recommended that the initial use addition amount is 5.0, and the normal addition amount is generally controlled at 1.0. This model is mainly used in continuous production of FFS heavy-duty packaging film and film products with high MLLDPE content.

KML PPA K5A can be applied to food packaging according to the following requirements

● Packaging & Storage

KML PPA K5A is packed in polyethylene bags of 25kg each, covered with shrink film and carried on pallets. For optimum performance, the storage period should preferably not exceed 12 months at a temperature of 25°C.
